PONDS

AVAILABLE ON A TRAIL BASIS FOR AUGUST 2019

The Club have been offered an initial one month trail period which, if successful, will result in longer term access. The ponds constitute part of the landowners personal garden and members are required to respect this at all times.

Six small ponds, some with islands and lilies varying from three to six feet in depth.  The ponds hold Carp of various kinds and sizes and Rudd.

From the A35 at Slepe turn northwards into Bulbury Lane and continue to its junction with Halls Road.  Bear left and immediately left again at the sign for Higher Bulbury House. Proceed over the cattle grid and keeping to the drive on the right slowly approach the house and following the driveway around to the rear of the house into the block paved car parking area.

 

Following the field track, the ponds may be found at the bottom of the hill.

There is strictly no access or fishing below the entrance lane and cattle grid, the six available ponds are all situated north of the entrance point.

  • Members have no access to the Summer house or the pontoon area.
  • Fishing between 7.30am and 7pm or as darkness falls, whichever is the soonest.
  • The times above represent access as well as fishing.
  • No dogs, radios, or any gun or weapon to be brought onto this Fishery.
  • No fires, bivvies or tents allowed.
  • Strictly no litter to be left.
  • No cereal groundbait.
  • One rod only.
  • Only barbless or micro barbed hooks
  • No keepnets
  • Club Members are allowed to fish on the understanding that ponds form part of the owners garden and will at all times respect the owners privacy and rights of access.
  • In addition to the specific terms and conditions set out above, members will abide by the General Rules of Fishing printed in their membership book.
