FISHERY RULES

These two stretches of the Dorset Stour hold good shoals of roach including some specimen size chub, pike alongside the usual Stour species. These stretches can fish very well in winter when conditions are suitable.

• Take the A350 from Poole towards Blandford.
• As you enter Charlton Marshall, take the third right after the Charlton Inn, Palmers Lane.
• Parking is permitted halfway down the lane on the left hand side. Park sensibly to avoid obstructing.
• To access the fishery walk to the end of Gravel Lane. Take the footpath to a drive with a house on the right. Cross the drive and go over the style into the field. There is a small bridge and gate about 150yrds from the style. Cross the bridge and enter the field through the gate. Directly across the field is the fishery.

• As you enter Charlton Marshall, take the first right after the Charlton Inn, River lane.
• Park safely in the lane, but not at the end as this is private land.
• To access the fishery follow the path and enter through the gate
