HANDY TO KNOW

This stretch of the Dorset Stour is the match length from the boathouse at Canford School upstream on the lefthand bank, a fishery that is wider and deeper than further up, it comes into its own once the first floods have cleared the heavy weed growth with good catches possible in the right conditions.

  • Park on the roadside at the bottom of Oakley Hill
  • Coarse season 16th June - 14th March
  • Toilets - NO

  • Club Key Needed - NO
  • Night Fishing - NO

  • Spend some time walking the stretch before fishing to locate the shoals.
